Well...

this month has seemed to fly by!! Between Garrett working, Scout trips, and Family vacation our month is over!! Garrett took his scouts on their super activity for 4 days. they hiked, canoed, swam at Clear Creek ,shot clay pigeons, and ate awesome food. I love it when he comes home because he always brings back yummy recipes! The boys on there hike at Bear canyon Lake

The boys decided to play a few tricks on one of the leaders while they were there. First, they fed him Ex-Lax the entire trip and he kept wondering why he was always running to the restroom :/Then on the way home they taped the "I Love men" on the back of his trailor. He had no idea and pulled it all the way from payson with it on. he had all kinds of people laughing at him and making hand gestures as they drove by. His reaction once they got home was priceless!

We just got back Yesterday from our trip to Colorado. It was a pretty quick trip and I would have loved to stay one more day, but just more of a reason to go back! We got there Thursday night, set up camp, ate dinner, and went to bed. Then on Friday we went hiking and fishing. Saturday was the coolest. My parents watched all the grandkids so that all my siblings and spouses could spend the day on Durango Mountain. We took the ski lift up to the top and biked our way down! it was a blast!! We should have started on a warm up trail but went straight to the intermediate trail ( which was the easiest one down the mountain!) so, I was the first fall. No shame! I could feel my tire slip off the path to the right and I slid down for a bit and then flipped off my bike. Thanks to Karl for helping me get my bike back up and pulling me up. It trashed my arm pretty good and i strained my quad muscles. And of course, I keep finding more bruises in random spots. We should have gotten it on tape. It was an awesome biff!! But we ended up going down the same trail 2 more times before the lift closed. We also got to ride to Alpine Slide down. kenzie was tall enough to ride so Garrett took her and she kept telling him to go faster! She is such a little dare devil! She also got to go on the ride where they harness you in and you are attached to rubber bands and they bounce you up in the air! Kenzie LOVED IT!! She went so high on that thing. And she was all smiles and of course didn't want it to end! she is not even 3 yet and loves to do all these adventurous things! i am in so much trouble later!! :) After the last trail we headed back to the condo where I made chili and cornbread for dinner, and we enjoyed a dip the in the Jacuzzi.

The Group out hiking!!

The gang ready for mountain biking!!

The view and my cut up arm!

Kenzie up in the Air!!

Having a BLAST!! She was so Smilie!!

The trip home wasn't too bad at all. We carvaned with my brother and his wife over, so that seemed to make is go back pretty fast! My nephew Carson and Kenzie were being parted so that we could get into our cars and get going, and they were gazing back at eachother crying and screaming their names as they reached for one another. It was as of they were never going to see eachother again and they were being torn apart. It was hilarious! they get along go great! I love that they chase eachother around, play and have fun with eachother. They also rode from Flagstaff to Phoenix in Karl's car. Kasey said that they had a blast, and made eachother laugh. check her blog for more details! We also stopped at the four corners monument. It was a fast trip but now I can say I have been in 4 states at once.
