Camping Trip to Sunflower

Our trip was a Blast!! We camped right next to the creek and enjoyed riding the quads, eating, and playing paintball.
Despite all the changes in plans, we all got out there and had a fun time. Well, except for dad and grandma that were on the 87 heading out when they were turned around due to the landslide on the freeway. They were really bummed out as everyone was out camping and they were all alone for part of Easter sunday. We all headed home early so that we could all be together on Easter.
A great form of entertainment was Garrett damming up the creek. He kept adding more and more rocks and each time a group of riders came through the water just seemed to keep getting deeper. It turned into an all weekend activity which ended up involving many of us there. Kenzie liked the water until she got wet and then wanted nothing to do with it!! She just enjoyed throwing rocks into the water or onto daddy's dam to help him out!!
It was also my mom's first trip out using her new trailer. She loved it as did we!! We were able to shower, prepare some food, and had a quite place for the babies to take naps!! Thanks mom for hauling it out!!

Spring Break Fun

So my spring break came and went too fast!! I was able to spend lots of time with Mackenzie and get us ready for our camping trip up to Sunflower. Here are some fun pictures of Kenzie all cute. We also went to a Youth Muesum where there were lots of hands on exhibits and toys. She had a great time in the little kitchen area and going down the slide.

Lizard

Our friends that live across the way have this cute green lizard and when Kenzie saw it she thought it was real. So we kept on taking the lizard and getting her, or pretending the lizard was giving her kisses. Now she picks it up, laughs at it, and then growls. Clayton, the cutie next to her is the owner of the lizard and loves when Kenzie comes over. He just laughs, and smiles and watchs kenzie play with toys. Last night Kenzie found his binkie and tried to put it in his mouth. However, she kept pulling it back out instead of letting go. Guess we'll have to work on that one!

Child Labor

it is never to early to start your kids on chores, right?! Kenzie was having a hayday with the broom, sweeping the floor! Of course all she did was spread it around but she was having a great time!

So this is the bib that i had bought Garrett to let him know I was pregnant with kenzie. It brings back memories of his "deer in the headlights" look when he opened it at Christmas. Now look at his baby! he wouldn't trade her for the world. She is such a daddy's girl!!
