So Garrett went on a 3 day hike with the teachers quorom. They started at Woods Canyon and ended up at Chevelon Canyon. The weather was good and they all did a great job!! Besides two of the leaders getting sick for a day, no one got hurt! Pretty amazing for a bunch of 14 year old boys!! Here are some cool pictures:
Down in the Canyon it was really green and had great fishing at the streams/ponds!!
We think this poor elk was shot and had run away when it got hit, and died down in the canyon. Garrett tried to hike to whole thing as shown in the picture but the head was really smelly and it added a lot of weight. So, he chopped out the rack and it is beautiful!! We are going to have it mounted! Someone must have been really mad when this one got away!! Lucky Garrett!
