Disneyland for Christmas

So this year was the year with my family for Christmas and my parents decided to take everyone to Disneyland. How awesome is that?! My parents Rock what can I say?! So we headed out thursday morning and drove to Cali. The ride went well and as Garretts says ,"thanks to GPS we got there without arguing!" Which if you have ever tried to be the navigator in a new place sometimes that doesn't work out so good. :) So we got there in great time and headed into the park. Most of the time Paige stayed in my wrap and Kenzie was a trooper braving the crowd. The park was very crowed but looked super cool with all the decorations! We enjoyed taking Kenzie on all kinds of rides and even got to go on a few ourselves. We hit up the awesome World of Color show, Aladdin, fireworks, and Fantasmic! Christmas Eve was a pretty good day in the park, but Christmas night was even better thanks to the tons of rain!! The rain started at 8:30 or so and the whole park cleared out!! There was virtually no one there! We bought a few ponchos and an umbrella and stuck it out. For our dinner we got a corn dog, sat under an umbrella in the rain and ate. But then we got together with Kim and HL, and my parents and had a blast. I don't think i have ever seen soo much water on Splash Mountain!  And Space Mountain was awsome!! I even got to do a little shopping and got a fun Jacket! As this was the third day in the park it was a perfect ending. We have decided that the next trip is no kids!! :) It was fun but a lot of work.

Christmas Eve was spent in the park all day followed but some family time late that night. We enjoyed snacks/treats, scriptures, and the story of Christ's birth. The kids got their traditional christmas pajamas, and then got one gift to open. Kenzie opened her truck and horse trailer set. She LOVED it!! Christmas morning was super fun. Kenzie and I got up and saw that Santa had eaten the cookies but had left a bite and she couldn't wait to go see her cousins and what Santa had brought. We had a hard time waking up as we were really tired but we got ourselves together and headed to my moms room. We had fun helping Paige and Kenzie open their gifts and once we were done we all went had breakfast as a family!

Waiting to go into the Park
