So this is the first year since I started having babies that I have been lucky enough to be home everyday. I was a bit worried that my life would get boring and I would want to get out, but as I have learned that 2 kids are more time consuming than 1, I have much more to do at home. Between the nursing and diapers, dishes and laundry, shopping, and meal preperation, spending time with Kenzie, there doesn't seem to be enough time in a day to get it all done! This semster seems to busy super busy as Garrett is taking 19 credit hours and would have no time to help with the kiddos if I were working. We barely get to see him as it is! So, I am so grateful that I get to be home watching the sweet interaction of my girls, and the way in which they are growing and changing each day. My partriachal blessing says that the "most important job for me on this earth is to be a worthy wife and mother...". This reminds me what I need to be doing, whats most important, and that I can do alittle better everyday.

It is saddens me in my grad program when people say that society just expects women to stay home and take care of their children. I can't think of a more noble job or way to spend your day and life. I am glad you enjoy it. I bet you are doing a great job.
