Sea World

So I got the idea in my head to take a vacation before Garrett started his internship. I pretty much had it all planned out and it did not take too much convincing to get Garrett to agree! so, we loaded up and headed out to San Deigo on thursday. We really enjoyed the weather, the beach, and the highlight was Sea World. Kenzie has such a great time seeing all the animals. She got to feed the Sea Lions, pet and feed the Sting Rays (this was a favorite for her!!), and loved seeing Shamu jump out of the water and splash everyone. Garrett took her on the Rapids Ride which kinda freaked her out since they were the only 2 in the raft and it kept turning them backwards. But she survived! I am sooo glad we went now, cause since I am 29 weeks i am feeling large and got pretty tuckered out walking around all day. Here are some pictures of our trip.

This cave was just a walk through on the way to see the whales and polar bears, and it had a recored bear growling which Kenzie thought was real, so she screamed and wanted nothing to do with the cave. The next day she told us she wanted to go to the cave and when we got there she screamed and ran off, not going in at all. Crazy girl :)

Lovin the sand and cool weather at La Jolla Cove. Next time we are bringing our snorkel gear as there were all kinds of cool fish to see!!

Our front row Soak zone seats!! Totally worth getting wet for. Garrett got more wet than I as he was protecting our little Kenzie from getting wet and having a melt down. in fact, she started to whine and say she was all wet and then realized she was not that wet at all!

We also checked out Downtown San Diego and saw the Mormon battalion Memorial. It was a neat tour and then we got to pan for gold at the end.
