Camping in Flagstaff

This is going to be LONG, so hang in there!!Since Garrett got out of school before I did, he headed up with my mom to help her get all set up and then waited for us to get there. kenzie and I left on friday, May 23rd which was my last day of my first teaching job. Little did I expect to run into a snow storm from about Pine to our campground at Pine Grove. Random snow storm in May?! But when we got there we had a blast. Depsite the cold first night or two, we played some fun paintball, ate some awesome dutch-oven cooking (thanks mom and garrett), saw the Indiana Jones movie, and hung out! Kenzie enjoyed seeing the squirrels, decided that she was an awesome balancer and had to step on every rock you came across, collected and threw rocks, tried to pull herself up on a tree branch, woke garrett up each morning by saying "Daddy" until garrett got her out of the pack and play, and went on hikes with mom and dad.

Cheesy smile- Kenzie and her rock collection

Kenzie attempting a pull up and balancing on her rock

Gotta love the backpack. That is the only way to go!!

Garrett and i fancy free this summer so we stayed with mom and G-ma once everyone left. We went to Winslow and saw family there, and then eventually headed home.

Cute pictures with daddy and mommy

Here are 4 generations hiking the Sunset Crater in Flagstaff

Kenzie and her grandmas ready for some spotlighting action. On this trip we saw a heard of female elk

What is this face? For real?!She has some of the funniest faces!!

Kenzie thought she was hot stuff after we curled her hair. She liked looking at herself in the mirror!!
So these are the pictures from our first camping adventure for the summer. Next week we go to Rocky Point Mexico for a whole week. Peace out 105 weather, hello beach and cool water!!
