Our trip was a Blast!! We camped right next to the creek and enjoyed riding the quads, eating, and playing paintball.
Despite all the changes in plans, we all got out there and had a fun time. Well, except for dad and grandma that were on the 87 heading out when they were turned around due to the landslide on the freeway. They were really bummed out as everyone was out camping and they were all alone for part of Easter sunday. We all headed home early so that we could all be together on Easter.
A great form of entertainment was Garrett damming up the creek. He kept adding more and more rocks and each time a group of riders came through the water just seemed to keep getting deeper. It turned into an all weekend activity which ended up involving many of us there. Kenzie liked the water until she got wet and then wanted nothing to do with it!! She just enjoyed throwing rocks into the water or onto daddy's dam to help him out!!
It was also my mom's first trip out using her new trailer. She loved it as did we!! We were able to shower, prepare some food, and had a quite place for the babies to take naps!! Thanks mom for hauling it out!!
